01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
InMotion Labs was a Krakow-based Polish startup founded in 2018 by Sławomir Potasz. It built automated vehicle-inspection robots using autonomous navigation and AI to scan every inch of a car and report its condition, targeting car dealers, auctions and rental companies. Its main product, Car Scanner, could fully scan a car in about two minutes with up to 100 high-quality pictures; the company also ran license-plate-scanning electric cars in Warsaw's paid parking zones to enforce parking fees. The company later operated under the name Car Scanner.
