01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Flood was a decentralized exchange aggregator focused on the Ethereum ecosystem. Live on Arbitrum One with plans to expand to Ethereum, Base and Optimism, it routed trades across hundreds of exchanges and pairs to fill orders at mathematically optimal prices, positioning itself against request-for-quote models it viewed as prone to collusion. The team also operated its own DEX, FloodSwap. It was co-founded by Francesco, a former UMA Protocol engineer, and Jan.
