What the company did
TripYeah was a Santiago, Chile startup founded in 2020 by Elías Musalem, Fernando Ordoñez and Miguel Antonio Rodriguez Santander. Calling itself the first 'Travel Itinerary Meta-Optimizer', it used artificial intelligence and optimization algorithms to evaluate thousands of variables and optimize complex flight routes in seconds — by availability, time, cost, stops and CO2 emissions — for airlines, online travel agencies and travel agents. It raised a $1.1 million seed round via COREangels Pacific and was acquired by Swiss trip-building platform Nezasa in October 2022.
