What the company did
Vanhawks was a connected-bicycle startup that built the Valour, billed as the world's first smart carbon fiber bicycle. The $1,500 commuter bike connected to smartphones via Bluetooth, offering flashing LED lights for turn-by-turn navigation, built-in ride metrics like route and speed tracking, and crowd-sourced road-condition data — aiming to make urban cycling safer and smarter.
