01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Inventoro was a Prague-based SaaS company founded in 2020 by Tomas Formanek that used artificial intelligence for sales forecasting and replenishment optimization. Its platform helped small and medium-sized businesses maintain optimal stock levels by learning from their specific business requirements and predicting demand months in advance, claiming forecast accuracy above 99% product availability and up to 20% of inventory capital freed. In May 2024 it was acquired by Cin7, a US inventory and order management software provider, which integrated its AI forecasting capabilities into its Connected Inventory Performance platform; Presto Ventures, its first and only institutional investor, exited.
