01 / WHAT IT BUILT

What the company did

Geego Kids Oy, founded in 2019 in Tampere, Finland by Heidi Leivo, is a movement-based learning app for children aged 4 to 9: short guided videos give playful movement challenges that develop balance, coordination, body control and other fundamental motor skills, with progress tracked per child. Built with the Varala Sports Institute and researched with the University of Tampere, it is used by families and schools — Tampere rolled it out to all first-grade classes across 18 schools in autumn 2025.
