What the company did
Finansystech was a Brazilian open-finance startup founded in 2021 in São Paulo by CEO Danillo Branco. It operated an open-source technology platform offering secure open-finance alternatives: consent management, an identity security gateway, governance, and pre-built integrations for core banking — letting clients offer financial services 'under one roof.' It was the first Brazilian company to earn the OpenID Foundation's FAPI security certification and won Open Finance Platform of the Year (Brazil) at the 2022 Worldwide Finance Awards. The company raised about $442K–$560K (angel + equity crowdfunding) before being acquired by Celcoin on February 14, 2023 for $16.3 million.
