01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Linker was a Brazilian digital bank exclusively for small and medium businesses, founded in 2019 by David Mourão, Ingrid Barth and Daniel Benevides. Its digital checking account for companies (conta PJ) offered debit and credit cards, bill payments, tax payments, boletos issuance, Pix transfers, LinkerPay payment links and accounting integrations — with no monthly fee. It served over 30,000 SMEs and partnered with more than 100 accounting firms as its main distribution channel. Its first round of R$12 million (Dec 2020) matches the recorded $2.34M funding figure, backed by Darwin Capital and angel investors.
