What the company did
WFHomie was a Toronto-based employee engagement and people analytics platform for remote-first companies, founded in 2020 by Pavla Bobosikova. It analyzed employee engagement and team behavior to identify gaps, then delivered AI-powered recommendations - virtual experiences, team-building activities, employee appreciation - to help distributed and hybrid companies keep employees productive and engaged. Customers included Wealthsimple, Facebook, Google, Spotify and Indeed. The company raised about $1.6 million in funding, including a $1.9 million CAD seed round in late 2021.
