What the company did
uCiC was a Toronto-based social networking app that let users ask people anywhere in the world for real-time photos or videos of places, events and weather. Founded by siblings Sukhsagar Singh and his sister, it grew to 250,000 users in 180 countries, joined the Techstars accelerator and raised outside funding before eventually shutting down.
