01 / WHAT IT BUILT

What the company did

Frenter is a Halifax, Canada-based B2B SaaS platform for the rental and heavy equipment industry. Founded in early 2020 by Zach Laberge as an Airbnb-for-stuff tool-rental marketplace built on Bubble's no-code platform, it evolved into an all-in-one rental operations tool and then into next-gen asset management software using GPS and telematics for real-time fleet tracking, equipment health insights and theft prevention. The company has raised about $2.7 million across pre-seed and seed rounds from investors including Soma Capital, LAUNCH, 1517 Fund and Jason Calacanis.
