What the company did
Bloomwell Group is a Frankfurt-based holding company founded in 2020 by Niklas Kouparanis and Dr. Julian Wichmann, and one of Europe's largest medical cannabis companies. It acts as a central hub for a cannabis ecosystem covering nearly the entire value chain except cultivation: its portfolio includes Algea Care, Europe's leading cannabis telemedicine platform, Ilios Sante, a licensed distributor and importer of medical cannabis, and Breezy Brands, an incubator and marketplace platform. Through digitization of the whole treatment process, from consultation to prescription fulfillment, Bloomwell gives tens of thousands of patients, pharmacies, doctors and wholesalers a digital home.
