What the company did
Carmatic (Greenvale, New York) built an intelligent Payments-as-a-Service platform for the automotive industry, co-founded by CEO David Domm, formerly chief product officer at Cars.com. Its proprietary payment engine powered marketing platforms, desking tools, dealer websites and digital retail providers, synchronizing inventory with lender programs, bank rates and regional incentives in real time to deliver accurate, fundable loan and lease payment offers at the VIN level — enabling dealers to present transparent, compliant, transaction-grade payments instantly and letting CRMs, marketplaces and ad-tech platforms embed real-time payments. In September 2025 it was acquired by Informativ, a Capstreet-backed provider of fraud prevention, compliance and credit technology for the automotive and consumer finance industries.
