01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Shryne Group is a Los Angeles-based cannabis holding company and the parent of STIIIZY, one of the largest retail cannabis brands in California. Shryne's vertically integrated operations span cultivation, vape and lifestyle-product manufacturing, and retail dispensaries: by late 2025 STIIIZY operated more than 60 stores across California and Michigan, including 12 stores acquired from the defunct conglomerate Gold Flora. The company's rapid growth has been accompanied by lawsuits alleging illicit-market ties and illegal pesticide use, which it has denied, and a $2.95 million class-action settlement over a 2024 customer data breach.
