01 / WHAT IT BUILT

What the company did

Formitable was an Amsterdam-based SaaS platform for restaurants: it managed online reservations and table seating with a visual floor-plan editor, handled guest data and prepayments to cut no-shows, and ran loyalty and yield-management tools. Founded in 2017 by Raymond Wilders, Cyril Mestrom, and Milan van de Goor, it served independent and group restaurant operators across Europe. In January 2023 it merged with Paris-based Zenchef, and by January 2024 the Formitable brand was retired with everything running under the Zenchef name.
