01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Paneau was a San Francisco advertising startup in Y Combinator's Winter 2020 batch, founded by Alec Fong and Nader Khalil. It installed interactive tablets inside Uber and Lyft vehicles so businesses could advertise directly to riders: the captive audience could interact, make purchases, or even re-route the car, with targeting by location, time and event. The 7-person team raised $150K in March 2020.
