01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Terminus was an Atlanta-based account-based marketing (ABM) platform led by co-founder Eric Spett and CEO Rich Howarth. It built an all-in-one B2B engagement platform spanning account-based advertising (LinkedIn, connected TV, audio), web personalization, email signature marketing and a B2B customer data platform. It grew aggressively through acquisitions — BrightFunnel (2018), Sigstr, Ramble, GrowFlare, and Zylotech (2021) — and raised about $193 million, serving over 1,000 customers including units of IBM, Salesforce and Thomson Reuters.
