01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Immerok was a Berlin deep-tech startup founded in 2022 by former Data Artisans (Ververica) employees Konstantin Knauf, Johannes Moser and Holger Temme. It offered a serverless cloud service for Apache Flink — the open-source stream-processing framework — letting companies run real-time stream-processing applications with cloud-native scaling and no operational overhead. It raised $17 million in seed funding from Cusp Capital, 468 Capital, Cortical Ventures, Essence VC and business angels including Flink co-creator Stephan Ewen.
