Aquarian Space (formerly Aquarian Devices) is founded in Louisville, Colorado by CEO Kelly Larson as an interplanetary communications startup building SOLNET, a relay-satellite network delivering high data-rate connectivity between the Moon, Mars and Earth for space agencies, defense agencies and commercial space explorers.
- Seed funding
In March 2022, Aquarian Space announces $650,000 in seed funding to deploy a high-speed communications network for the Moon, targeting the anticipated surge in government and commercial lunar missions.
- Acquisition
In May 2023, Aquarian Space is acquired by CREAN Inc., becoming part of CREAN's CelestNet/SOLNET lunar communications system.
