What the company did

Fabric was a personal location-based journaling app from Y Combinator's Summer 2016 batch, founded by former Facebook engineers Arun Vijayvergiya and Nikolay Valtchanov. It automatically logged users' places, paths, activities and interactions — importing photos, mapping movements on a private timeline, and letting friends share experiences — positioning itself as a privacy-first personal memory archive.
