01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Adla was an AI-powered clothing styling service that used computer vision to help women escape the hours of frustration of searching for clothes. Co-founded by Holly Leslie (CEO) and tech co-founder Harry, the company delivered curated clothing boxes - which Leslie personally delivered and picked up by bike in East London in its early days - and was awarded a $10,000 equity-free grant by Y Combinator in December 2018.
