What the company did
Yimidida (壹米滴答) was a Shanghai-based LTL logistics network platform founded in 2015 by Yang Xingyun. Using a 'network-crowdfunding + capacity-crowdsourcing' model, it united regional carriers into a nationwide network for less-than-truckload freight, reaching deep into rural China with payment collection, transport insurance, and delivery tracking. It raised $546.8 million in total, including a $266 million Series D (January 2019) and a ~¥1 billion D+ round (February 2020).
