01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Nestwave was a French wireless startup founded in 2014 in Paris by Rabih Chrabieh. It developed an ultra-low-power GNSS geolocation solution for IoT: DSP software that lets IoT modem makers (NB-IoT, Cat M1, LoRa, Sigfox) offer accurate geolocation for asset tracking, smart factories and smart cities without a dedicated positioning chip, protected by more than 10 patents. It raised about $7.9 million and was acquired by NextNav in October 2022.
