01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
lintil was an Irish proptech startup co-founded in 2018-2019 by Emmet Creighton (a former property lawyer) and his long-time friend Jonathan. Its free-to-use online platform aimed to streamline the home-buying journey: an AI-powered virtual assistant guided buyers through each step — from property search to final sale — and matched them with mortgage brokers, solicitors, insurance companies, property surveyors and other service providers, while property listing sites could earn revenue as the home buyer's advocate. Officially launched in July 2021 with partnerships including daft.ie and FBD, it claimed to have guided over 5,000 Irish home buyers and raised about €350,000 from NDRC and Enterprise Ireland.
