01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Bellway is a New York-based wellness brand founded by Max Dresse, a natural fiber supplement company built as a 'next-generation' alternative to legacy brands like Metamucil. Its flagship Bellway Super Fiber uses organic psyllium husk with real fruit powders and monk fruit extract - no artificial flavors, sweeteners or colors - addressing the fact that 95% of US consumers are fiber-deficient. Launched exclusively online in January 2020 with funding from Five Four Ventures, it closed a $2 million seed round in March 2020 and later pushed into retail, landing in 6,000+ stores including Walmart, Target and Sam's Club by 2025, with 198+ creator brand deals. The brand is active: its website still sells products.
