What the company did
Rise of Defenders (RoD) was a Panama-based NFT tower-defense game founded in 2021 and built by Apero Game Studio (led by Minh Pham Huy). The game ran on the BNB Chain and combined tower defense with play-to-earn elements: players built bases, recruited troops with unique NFT fighting and defense skills, battled in campaign and tournament modes, and earned the game's RDR token and mythical equipment. The alpha version and marketplace were released in the first quarter of 2022. The company raised about $1.02 million in seed funding. No shutdown, acquisition or other failure event was found — its status is unclear.
