01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
MindMiner was an open-source miner manager program by developer Oleg Samsonov (Quake4), built for cryptocurrency mining on CPUs, NVIDIA and AMD GPUs. It let users configure supported third-party miners against pools such as NiceHash, MiningPoolHub and Zpool, automatically switching algorithms and pools for the most profitable coin, with online monitoring and Telegram notifications. It was a personal open-source project, not a venture-backed company, and no public record of a business failure, shutdown event or financials exists.
