01 / WHAT IT BUILT

What the company did

SpaceAge Labs was a Singapore deep-tech startup, founded in 2016 by Deepak Pitta and incubated at NUS Enterprise, that built IoT and AI solutions for remote monitoring and maintenance of distributed physical assets. Its flagship platform, remoteEye, combined low-power wireless IoT sensor nodes, long-range connectivity, and AI software to monitor water and wastewater infrastructure, urban greenery, and facilities - detecting leaks, tracking water consumption and air quality, and cutting the need for on-site manpower. The company originally did IoT consulting before pivoting to a product company in 2017, and its early customers included Singapore's national water agency PUB.
