What the company did
Neosync is an open-source, developer-centric data platform for anonymizing production data and generating synthetic data. It lets engineering teams safely use anonymized production data for local testing and development, reproduce production bugs with representative data subsets, hydrate staging and QA environments, and stay compliant with regulations like GDPR and HIPAA through techniques such as masking, redaction, scrambling, and synthetic data generation. Founded by Evis Drenova (neosync.dev), the project integrates with existing databases and object storage and is distributed with open-source and enterprise editions.
