What the company did
Morpheus Data was a pioneer in software for hybrid cloud management and platform operations, spun out of Bertram Labs in 2015. Its multi-tenant platform offered self-service provisioning, orchestration and automation across hybrid and multi-cloud environments, plus FinOps capabilities for cloud cost optimization. On August 15, 2024 Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Morpheus Data, integrating it into HPE GreenLake cloud as the hybrid cloud control plane; the acquisition closed in the fourth quarter of 2024.
