01 / WHAT IT BUILT

What the company did

Gamepay was a Singapore metaverse gaming startup founded in 2021 by former banker Daniel Dos Santos, building a multi-chain platform connecting games, NFTs and tokens with gamers, guilds and gaming companies. It offered an NFT marketplace for its own play-to-earn game Chickey Chik and tools for global developers to launch P2E games, letting players earn cryptocurrency while playing. It raised a $1.2 million pre-seed round in March 2022 from Seier Capital and 8i Holdings.
