01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Minded was a New York-based digital mental health company founded in 2021 by David Ronick, Gaspard de Dreuzy and psychiatrist Dr. Chris Dennis. It offered medication-focused telepsychiatry: free online assessments and video visits with board-certified psychiatrists or psychiatric nurse practitioners, with prescriptions filled at local pharmacies or delivered to patients' homes. In February 2022 it raised $25 million in seed funding led by investors including Streamlined Ventures, Link Ventures and The Tiger Fund, aiming to expand across US states and add treatments for mood, ADHD and psychedelic-assisted therapy.
