What the company did
Product Hunt Games was Product Hunt's gaming category - the platform's first expansion beyond tech products into gaming. It worked like the main Product Hunt leaderboard but for new gaming products, led by Polygon co-founder Russ Frushtick. Founder Ryan Hoover said games were a natural next step given the crossover between tech and gaming demographics, and the section was preceded by a Games Digest newsletter.
