01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Limbix was a digital therapeutics company founded in 2016, developing evidence-based treatments for teens and young adults with symptoms of depression. It started with the Limbix VR Kit for exposure therapy and later pivoted to prescription digital therapeutics: SparkRx, a self-guided cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) program for those aged 13+, teaching mood tracking, behavioral activation, problem solving and mindfulness, supported by trial data showing clinically meaningful reductions in depression symptoms. It raised about $30 million through its Series A, including a $15 million round in late 2021.
