01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Tailor was a tiny UK analytics startup built by 25-year-old founder Joe D'elia as part of his personal challenge to launch 12 startups in 12 months, inspired by Pieter Levels. While A/B testing his other projects, he found existing tools full of missing features and spent two months building a better A/B testing solution.
02 / Tailor FAILURE REASONS
Failure reasons
Tailor shut down the same year it launched after failing to gain traction. The venture never built an audience for the tool, and its post-mortem attributes the failure to weak marketing rather than the product itself.
