01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Zymoscope, founded in 2019 in Copenhagen, Denmark by Petros Venetopoulos, Mads Andersen and Jens Fuglsang Ringsholm, was a drinktech startup building an Industrial IoT platform for fermentation monitoring. Its proprietary sensor hardware mounted on fermentation tanks fed real-time fermentation data to a cloud platform and mobile app, letting breweries and food processors monitor and optimize brewing processes remotely and cut waste. The company closed a 960,000 euro seed round and piloted with Danish breweries before shutting down.
