What the company did

Foodler was an online food-ordering service based in Boston. Founded in 2004 by Christian Dumontet, it connected diners with more than 12,000 restaurants across 48 US states and Vancouver, ranking restaurants by consumer feedback and remembering users' favorite dishes, addresses, payment and tipping preferences. It ran a loyalty rewards program and was an early mainstream merchant to accept Bitcoin.
