01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Snapboard was a Y Combinator Winter 2020 company led by solo founder Calum Moore. It was a no-code platform that let users link and manage apps and platforms in a single customizable dashboard—creating boards that act as internal tools without involving the product or engineering team (described as 'Airtable, but with all of your data already in there'). More than 50 integrations were available, including Shopify, Dropbox, Google Analytics, MailChimp, Trello and Zendesk. It offered a free tier and charged $10/month/seat for advanced features; at demo day it had raised $150,000 from Y Combinator and reported about 3,000 registered users with 230 weekly active users. YC now lists the company as Inactive.
