01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Dealyze was a San Francisco-based loyalty and marketing platform for small businesses, co-founded by CEO William Baron and CTO Mark Salpeter. It offered a white-label, Starbucks-like loyalty experience that any store could brand as its own: custom apps, tablets at the register, plastic and digital rewards cards, and an online portal for SMS/email marketing campaigns and analytics. The company went through Y Combinator's Winter 2015 batch and raised seed funding from Y Combinator and Moso Capital.
