01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Rolebot was a Los Angeles-based AI hiring platform founded in 2018 by Shane Bernstein, a longtime staffing-industry executive. It operated what it called the first AI-powered job board for passive talent: instead of posting job ads, employers supplied profiles of top performers, and Rolebot's AI built look-alike candidate pipelines from publicly available web data, delivered interview-ready candidates daily, and scheduled interviews on the employer's behalf. Customers included Snowflake, the American Red Cross, Dentsu, USC and Randstad.
