01 / WHAT IT BUILT

What the company did

Skysheet was a Y Combinator Winter 2009 (W09) startup building a web-based spreadsheet application. Co-founded by Scott Bell and Dan Gackle, it offered an online alternative to desktop spreadsheets in the pre-Google-Sheets era. After Skysheet, Bell joined Y Combinator's software team and Gackle went on to manage Hacker News for YC.
