What the company did
Niles built a conversational wiki for businesses — a Slack bot that answered internal team questions by finding answers in company spreadsheets, docs, and other materials, so employees no longer had to dig through Google Docs or SharePoint. Founded in 2017 and part of Y Combinator's Winter 2017 batch, its team came from Google, Palantir, and Apartment List. The company claimed 700 teams signed up in its first week after launching.
