01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
OnScale was a cloud-native engineering simulation company offering pay-as-you-go simulation through its OnScale Solve platform. Its technology combined the compute power of cloud supercomputers with a web-based front end, letting engineers and scientists run solvers for problems like wave propagation and ultrasound transducer design from any device. The company was developed within the Thornton Tomasetti Weidlinger Innovation (TTWiiN) accelerator and led by CEO Ian Campbell.
