What the company did

MathChat was an edtech startup building mobile collaboration tools for learning math. Co-founded by Sam Woodard (a math teacher and engineer) and Kostub Deshmukh, it was backed by the Imagine K12 education accelerator. Students and teachers used the app to chat about math with proper formula rendering instead of plain text. No verifiable failure, shutdown or acquisition event was found.
