01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Infoworks.io was a Palo Alto enterprise software company founded in 2014 by Amar Arsikere. Its platform automated data engineering and DataOps — ingesting, profiling, transforming and orchestrating data pipelines for BI, machine learning and AI workloads across Hadoop, cloud warehouses, Snowflake, Databricks and more. Backed by Nexus Venture Partners and New Enterprise Associates, it raised $71.2 million through a Series D in December 2021, then launched Infoworks AI for data preparation. On December 5, 2024, enterprise AI company Uniphore acquired Infoworks alongside ActionIQ; the Infoworks brand was retired and its technology integrated into Uniphore's enterprise AI platform.
