01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
MajorBoost was a Seattle health-tech startup founded in 2020 as a spinout of the AI2 Incubator, led by CEO Lekshmi Venu with co-founders Ben Hesketh and Andrew Palmer. It built conversational AI agents that automated phone calls between healthcare teams and insurance companies: the software navigated interactive voice response phone trees, waited on hold music, and took notes. With five employees and $350,000 in pre-seed funding from AI2 plus a seed round, it was acquired by San Francisco voice-AI company SuperDial in January 2025 for undisclosed terms.
