01 / WHAT IT BUILT
What the company did
Zurp was a Miami consumer fintech company aimed at Gen Z, built around a simple idea: credit-card rewards without the risk of debt. Its flagship Zurp Card was a secured card paired with a linked FDIC-insured cash account paying 5.00% APY; cardholders set their own limit by depositing funds, built credit with no credit check, and earned experience-focused points redeemable for concerts, VIP events and retail perks. Founded in 2022 by Troy Osinoff, Michael Lisovetsky and Ashish Pandhi, it raised a $5 million pre-seed round and launched publicly before PitchBook later marked the company out of business.
