- Founded
AeroClean Technologies is founded in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, developing proprietary and patented UV-C LED air purification technology for interior spaces such as hospitals, schools, offices, and elevators.
- IPO
On November 29, 2021, AeroClean completes its public offering of 2.5 million shares at $10.00 per share for gross proceeds of about $25.1 million, listing on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker AERC; in connection with the offering it converts from a Delaware LLC into a corporation.
- Merger with Molekule
On January 12, 2023, AeroClean completes its all-stock merger with Molekule, Inc., announced October 3, 2022. AeroClean stockholders own about 50.5% of the combined company, which changes its name to Molekule Group, Inc. and begins trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker MKUL.
