What the company did
Graphite (formerly SpareHire) was a San Francisco-based technology platform for on-demand business expertise, founded in 2014 and led by co-founder and CEO Vikram Ashok. It gave companies access to a network of pre-vetted independent consultants, executives and experts who helped them accelerate performance with greater speed and flexibility. Investment firms, professional services firms and Fortune 1000 companies turned to Graphite for hard-to-find skills and bandwidth. The company raised $18.75 million, including a $15 million Series A in August 2021 led by Valor Equity Partners.
