What the company did

Augie Studio was the flagship product of Aug X Labs, founded in January 2022 by Jeremy Toeman (CEO) and JT White (CPO): an AI-assisted video creator that democratized commercial video production. Users started with a prompt, script, narration, recording or clips, and Augie analyzed the content to assemble a matching video — auto-supplementing with commercially licensed stock footage, AI voices and voice cloning from ElevenLabs, and synthetic media. It offered free personal use, a $39/month Premium tier, and a $249/month Enterprise package.

   Acquired by JWX

   On January 15, 2026, JWX acquires Aug X Labs (terms undisclosed) to add AI content transformation to its publisher platform; Augie is incorporated into JWX Studio, its direct-to-consumer offering is sunset in favor of enterprise, and all Aug X Labs employees join JWX, with Jeremy Toeman becoming SVP of AI Innovation and JT White VP, Head of Content Studio.
